Psychology: Integrating Faith and Practice
"If you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any fellowship with the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, then make my joy complete by being like-minded having the same love, being one in spirit and purpose." Philippians 2:1-2
"Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God. For just as the sufferings of Christ flow over into our lives, so also through Christ our comfort overflows." 2 Corinthians 1:3-5
Welcome!
You may have felt a tug on your heart. It may be no accident that you are searching this website - God may be preparing a place for you in our program. If you have sensed a desire to encourage or comfort those who are hurting or lost, exploring the Master of Clinical Psychology Program here at Bethany University may be an important step for you. We pray that this site will answer many of your questions.
Our goal is to prepare you as a competent and caring psychology professional in:
- counseling
- psychotherapy
We view psychology through the lens of our Christian faith. Through our programs, we emphasize spiritual, intellectual and relational growth.
Bethany Graduate Psychology students study in learning teams of 15-20 students, giving them an opportunity to grow as individuals in a safe and supportive community. A Case Presentation replaces the traditional Thesis, and reinforces the clinical skills you've honed throughout your program.
