Bethany University Announces 2008 Graduation Weekend
Please join us as 210 graduates are awarded Baccalaureate and Masters Degrees, and Certificate Programs at the 2008 Graduation ceremonies.
Baccalaureate – Friday, May 2nd at 7:30 p.m. in the Craig Chapel at Bethany University.
This special service is a time of worship, reminiscing and reflection, a challenge from God’s Word, and communion. Dr. Marilyn Abplanalp, Associate Dean of Professional Studies, is our speaker. The Bethany University Ambassadors are singing at the Baccalaureate service.
*There will be a lovely complimentary reception held in the Bethany Café for graduating seniors and their guests after the Baccalaureate Service.
Commencement – Saturday, May 3rd at 10:00 am at Bethel Church in San Jose
Commencement is being held at Bethel Church, 1201 South Winchester Blvd, San Jose. Our Commencement speaker is Dr. Richard Israel, Professor of Biblical Studies and Languages. Faculty Emeritus, Rev. Norman Arneson, will receive the honorary degree, Doctor of Divinity. Special music will feature the Bethany University Concert Choir.
*A light dessert, outdoor reception will follow our Commencement ceremony.
